If you open a .vcf file directly in Excel, you don't get a contact list – you get lines like BEGIN:VCARD, FN:Rahul Das and TEL;CELL:098765 43210 stacked in one column. Hindi and Bengali names often turn into symbols like =E0=A4=AA, because Android saves them in a coded format.
